ATLANTA – The Department of Watershed Management has completed the $320 million Water Supply Program, increasing Atlanta’s reserve water supply from three days to up to 90 days. The former Bellwood Quarry was transformed into a 2.4 billion-gallon water reservoir, and also serves as the anchor for the new Atlanta Westside Park, which is the City’s largest greenspace with 280 acres.
